This blog will probably be mostly about tech (slightly linux/unix-heavy) and science and filled with content that I hope might be either interesting or useful (or even both) to someone some way or another.
I’ll use it to blog about ideas I had, things I tried1 (sometimes with a specific purpose and sometimes I’ll find a purpose after I did the thing, I’m sure) and found well-working, and occasionally the completely overengineered verification of a question I had. After all, production of insanity must never stop!

Physicist, likes simulating and automating things. Checking is preferrable over assuming (this only sometimes escalates, mildly, the blog’s name is completely unrelated…). Blogs here, toots there.

You might know the feeling of “I have this certain technical problem, some fringe usecase of something rarely used or written about” and in the end the breakthrough lies somewhere on some blog of someone who had some problem similar enough to give the final hint to the solution. I encountered this more than once and I intend to dump such solutions here as well. ↩︎
